      <title>Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) for Older Adults – UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center (June 06, 2026)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 15px;" face="Calibri, sans-serif"&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 16px;" face="Constantia, serif"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) for Older Adults&lt;/strong&gt; training is designed for individuals who work with or care for older adults, including nurses, healthcare providers, caregivers, social service professionals, community volunteers, and family members supporting adults aged 65 and older. Participants learn how to recognize and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges and crises among older adults.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 15px;" face="Calibri, sans-serif"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 16px;" face="Constantia, serif"&gt;Training is &lt;strong&gt;FREE to all participants&lt;/strong&gt; and includes a complimentary light breakfast, lunch, FREE T-shirt, FREE books, and additional learning resources. This program is made possible through the &lt;strong&gt;ARISE Grant&lt;/strong&gt; from the &lt;strong&gt;California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA)&lt;/strong&gt;. Participants who are nurses may receive 7.5 contact hours upon completion of the training.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
